About Simplify It
We have been building on Odoo since version 6.1 — long enough to have migrated the same clients across six major releases.
Simplify It S.R.L. is an Odoo implementation and development firm based in La Paz, Bolivia. We work with companies across Latin America and North America on the part of Odoo that generic partners tend to avoid: custom modules, non-trivial migrations, and integrations with systems that were never meant to talk to an ERP.
What we do
- Odoo implementation. Full deployments for small and mid-sized companies, from discovery to go-live and post-launch support.
- Custom development. Odoo modules written to fit an existing process, instead of a process bent to fit stock Odoo.
- Bolivian localization. Electronic invoicing against SIAT, exchange-rate handling, and the reporting Bolivian regulation actually requires.
- Version migrations. Moving live databases and custom code between Odoo releases without losing history.

He is the author of the OWL 2.0 book published on this site, and works hands-on on every engagement rather than handing them off.
The OWL 2.0 book
OWL is the frontend framework Odoo runs on, and the documentation for it is thin. So we wrote the book we wanted when we started: a chapter-by-chapter guide to OWL 2.0, from a first component to the legacy bridge and testing in production.
It is published free, one chapter at a time, on our blog.
